Marketing is all about pulling leads into the buying funnel. Sales converts those leads into customers. Customer relationship management creates repeat purchases and referrals.
However, none of these things operate independently.
And the thread that connects them all is content. So your marketing strategy needs to be a content-led approach that works in tandem with the strategy further down the funnel.

More often than not, entrepreneurs think they know what their USP is but it usually needs tweaking to actually be effective in your marketing.
Once you have your USP, this usually becomes the first ‘campaign’ you want to build your first funnel around.
You will likely find a few other campaigns emerge from exploring your target person and identifying selling propositions.
There are 80+ standard channels that most businesses use.
You need to differentiate those that could work from those that you should use.
Now you need to work out what kind of content you will eventually need to create.
This should naturally come from the the previous steps – your channels determine the medium of your content, while your campaign theme determines the subject matter.
Now you know what you need to create and where to release it – so you need to create a timeline and allocate your team, time and money to it all.
When you map it all out, it should become clear whether you can manage this all yourself within your desired timeframe.
If you can’t, then you have two options: get more help (like from me), or extend your deadline.
